Who am I?
I am currently an IT Student at RMIT University Vietnam, Saigon South campus, in the Enterprise Systems Development major. I'd very much like to be a System/Network administrator, but my current primary role in IT is Back-end Development.
Aside from IT, I like to play rhythm games. You may meet me playing maimai DX at certain arcades. If you do, don't hesitate to join in!
My IT Skills
Web Development
I mainly do Back-end development in JavaScript, specifically with the Express and Next.js frameworks, as well as basic Front-end development with React and Tailwind CSS.
I don't have a lot of knowledge on Front-end development, thus I am building this site to learn further.
Systems programming and admin
I know how to program in C++ and have used it to train for competitive programming. I have also learned basic Java from RMIT.
I have been daily driving Desktop Linux since 2018, and am currently hosting a Linux home server as a NAS, Home Assistant as well as the occasional Minecraft server.
Databases
Currently I mainly work with SQL databases (SQLite and Postgres), but I am also tackling on MongoDB as a NoSQL entrypoint (and it also serves the Web Studio)
What I've done
Along with a friend, This is a Discord bot made for fun with very much weird features. It was developed since about 2021 with Discord.js, but I don't maintain this codebase anymore. I have been (stalling) work on a new codebase with a database and such.
Source code for the bot
Since Q4 2024, I have been invited and am currently participating in development for Arknights VNS Offline 2025, an offline gathering of an Arknights community in Vietnam. I have participated in the development of the event website, a minigame for the event, and the ticketing system in Google Apps Script plus the ticket email template in MJML.
